Although my studio is titled “Lighthouse Studios RI” it doesn’t have much to do with Lighthouses but rather Music. I do like Lighthouses and have a collection of miniatures of them as well. I also am a painter and have done paintings of them, but my main focus is on my music. I grew up most of my life in Rhode Island, USA. Ever since I was young I always loved the piano and took lessons as a boy. I have also always been interested in Space and astronomy as well as science and history and electronics. I also have a passion for the ocean and coastal life and that’s where my fondness for lighthouses comes from. In my teenage years I taught myself guitar and while I can play it I wouldn’t consider myself as a great guitarist. My passions are with playing keyboards and synthesizers. My first keyboard was a Casio MT-70 and I also had a Realistic MG-1 by moog music which I played through an ampeg VT-22 amp. I created many songs with that setup during the 80’s but then life took me to a different path and it wasn’t until many years later I got back into it and with a lot more better equipment. As I kept creating I also kept adding to my studio. My purpose for this site was so I could share some of my works which I have made into CD’s ready for purchasing.
